Dr. Cynthia (“Cyndi”) Rachal graduated from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She is also trained in TCVM, acupuncture and integrative oncology. Dr. Rachal loves all aspects of medicine, but being able to provide her patients with their best quality of life is something she is deeply passionate about.
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Newton is a 2013 graduate of Oklahoma State University Veterinary School after completing her undergraduate degree at Austin College. She is married to her husband, Eddie, and together they have a son, Sam, and a daughter, Olivia. Their home is always full of animals, including two dogs (Seamus and Jinny), four cats (Sable, Dobby, Miriam, and Gandalf), and a herd of goats that have been known to escape their fence and turn up in unexpected places.
Veterinary medicine has been Dr. Newton’s passion her entire life, with surgery and ultrasound being her favorite areas of practice. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys running, quilting, spending time outdoors, and embracing the adventures that come with life on the farm. She looks forward to meeting you and caring for your pets!
