With the advancement of medicine comes the benefit of our pets living longer. The drawback though is that as they live longer, certain illnesses can occur, mainly due to their organs tiring out (examples: canine cognitive dysfunction, arthritis, chronic kidney disease, certain cancers, and more).
However, there are a lot of things we can do to extend both their quantity and quality of life. We recommend geriatric bloodwork and offer radiology and ultrasound if needed.
